The largest companies in their fields are: Clifford Chance LLP (USA) (a huge law company with profit of 986 million dollars in 1998); WPP Group Plc (England) (the world’s largest advertising agency since May 2000 with profit of 5.2 billion dollars in 1999. This agency pushed its rival company Young & Rubicam to the second place.); Bertelsmann AG (Germany) (the world’s largest publishing company with total sales volume of 14.16 billion dollars in June 1999); SFX Entertainment (the world’s largest producer and promoter of Broadway shows, concerts, sport competitions, the owner of about 125 concert halls, stadiums, etc.); Burson–Martseller (USA) (the largest PR-company founded in New York by Harold Berson and Bill Martseller more than 40 years ago. Its profit was more than 275 million dollars in 1995.); Frito-Lay (the largest producer of spicy snacks, a member of the PepsiCo Group. By the end of 1999 its total sale volume amounted to 30% of the world snack market, and that was 2/3 of the total sales volume of the PepsiCo Group.
